Rosebud Communications is looking for writers

Rosebud Communications, a boutique Los Angeles and Florida-based communications firm serving clients across the United States and Europe, seeks experienced writers to join its growing editorial team.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our award-winning writers and editors help both startup founders and executives at established companies to tell compelling stories about their brands. Working in partnership with corporate clients, we produce thought leadership content for major industry publications and websites, national and metro newspapers, and other top-tier media outlets.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position would suit a recent J-school graduate with stellar clips, or an experienced writer seeking new opportunities. Either way, the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent writing skills, strong news judgment, and the ability to produce polished, well-argued opinion and thought leadership pieces while working against tight deadlines.

EXPERIENCE

Experience covering business or technology is a bonus, as is an ability to write authoritatively about a wide range of topics. In any given week, our writers may be expected to produce a piece about artificial intelligence, healthcare, workplace diversity, or emerging trends in industries ranging from energy to e-commerce

COMPENSATION

  • $50 per hour- The position requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing to 25+ hours for the right candidate, or potentially full-time.
