Richmond Times-Dispatch seeks a reporter

The Richmond Times-Dispatch is hiring a creative and passionate reporter to join our Pulitzer Prize-winning newsroom.

The primary focus area of this beat is covering the roles of government and education in Henrico and Hanover counties, home to over 430,000 residents in Central Virginia.

We’re looking for a versatile reporter to connect with this audience, break news and deliver indispensable journalism on multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will bring a deep sense of urgency and competitiveness
  • Will have an eye for fresh angles and high-impact enterprise journalism opportunities.
  • A background with video and data is highly desirable.

The position includes occasional weekend shifts.
