Richmond BizSense, a profitable, fast-growing independent daily business news website, is adding a fourth full-time reporter.
The ideal candidate will have:
– 3 to 5 years of reporting experience, including building a beat and working sources
– Experience working on daily deadlines while juggling multiple stories
– Natural curiosity about what makes business and business people tick. Our reporters never stop sniffing around: every cab ride or haircut is a chance to meet a source and dig up a scoop.
– A knack for clear, concise, well-paced writing
– A competitive spirit and strong work ethic
– Ability to take clear, compelling photographs or a willingness to learn the fundamentals of photography
Compensation includes:
– A salary in the range of $30,000 to $45,000, depending on experience
