Reviewed is seeking a true lover of gadgets to join us as a full-time staff writer. This is the place to work in the Boston area if you love tech gadgets. You’ll be part of a growing team, creating daily content about consumer tech like headphones, home networking, laptops and peripherals, and other personal electronics. You’ll have a chance to test out the latest and greatest and your work will be read across the USA Today Network and beyond.

You are a diehard gadget and tech lover who follows daily coverage of the space. You are the person in your family everyone asks for product recommendations. When you visit Best Buy, the sales person asks you the questions.
As a staff writer on the tech beat, you’ll be primarily responsible for writing and updating reviews of a wide range of smart home gadgets, headphones, and other tech gear, as well as related feature articles.
The staff writer reports to the executive editor and works in our Product Labs and Editorial Office in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Produce multiple product reviews per month
- Updating our existing product roundups with new testing, new trends, and the latest news
- Produce quick-turnaround feature stories on topics like tech, gadgets, and more
- Assist the editorial team as a whole in writing assignments and generating great story ideas
Qualifications
- 2-3 years working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The ideal applicant will be a self-starter but take notes well.
- Deep knowledge of and passion for the world of tech gadgets
- Ability to create engaging stories that resonate with a mass audience
- Excellent, error-free writing
- Familiarity with social media, SEO best practices, and content management systems
