Reuters seeks video producer in New York

Reuters digital video is looking for a multimedia video reporter/producer to present daily financial news shows.

The position requires a strong video journalist who would also report on separate enterprise and feature business video packages with Reuters reporters, producers, and editors.

Responsibilities:
– Reporting/presenting for daily live financial news video shows
– Working with Reuters multimedia producers and text reporters to present fast-paced, visual, informative shows
– Writing and editing script copy for shows
– Be a key player in upholding Reuters editorial standards
– Reporting and presenting separate enterprise video packages for Reuters.com and Reuters Digital Video
– Booking high profile guests for separate interview segments

Qualifications:
– Solid news judgment
– 2+ years of reporting/presenting experience in television/multi-media newsroom
– Strong script editing, writing and presenting skills
– Ability to work with Reuters financial journalists on breaking news and feature stories
