We want someone who is quick on their feet and comfortable monitoring multiple sources for breaking news. As a member of the Speed Team, you will be at the hub of the Washington bureau and have a hand in covering the biggest stories of the day.
The winning candidate will be adept at using social media as a news gathering tool and will be expected to become a black belt in the art of Reuters’ alerting. A comfort with technology is essential.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
• At least three years’ experience as a working journalist.
• Strong reporting and writing skills
• An ability to work smoothly as a member of a team
