Reuters seeks Paris correspondent

Reuters is looking for a strong all-round reporter to join the Paris bureau and help cover France, the euro zone’s second largest economy with its colorful politics and some of the largest companies on the continent.

The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be to take ownership of a sizable equities beat but he/she will also be expected to dive into the macro, general news and politics file as required.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a proven ability to break news from sources and produce engaging and sophisticated copy across the file. The ability to work in a tight-knit team with French local language colleagues and visuals is a must.
