Thomson Reuters’ Project Finance International is seeking a highly motivated and talented journalist to serve as its Latin America correspondent, based in the Times Square New York office. The role requires a genuine and proven ability to source exclusive business news stories, a key to the role, and proven journalistic writing ability.
PFI is a global leader in providing up to date and accurate information about the exciting global energy and infrastructure projects market. It has offices in New York, London and Singapore. The beat covers projects in the oil & gas, mining, roads and transportation and PPP (public private partnership) sectors.
The Latin America reporter role requires: writing short daily news stories on the LatAm Pension Funds market for the PFI website; writing longer news pieces for the biweekly magazine; writing and commissioning articles for the PFI supplement and Yearbook programme and; representing PFI in the marketplace.
Qualifications
Proven ability to source stories via submission of clipping and previous work
Degree education
Languages (Spanish, Portuguese etc) helpful
