Reuters is looking for an outstanding reporter/editor to drive enterprising coverage of the United States.
By creating this position, Reuters is filling an important gap between fast-paced spot news coverage provided by the U.S. General News team, inside-the-beltway stories from the Washington Bureau and deep specialist business coverage from centers such as Houston, Detroit and San Francisco.
For the right candidate this is a huge opportunity. He/she will be expected to pick their battles carefully and work collaboratively with others teams to help Reuters stand out from the crowd on the most important stories in America.
If you believe you can bring something special to this role, we want to hear from you. You may have a non-traditional career path, education or background. If you meet the minimum qualifications for the role, let us know in a cover letter with your application. Reuters depends on diversity of thought and you could be just what we need.
