Reuters is seeking a highly motivated reporter to cover the European Central Bank out of Frankfurt.
This beat will arguably be the most important in EMEA over the next year and beyond for our core clients.The role is demanding and rewarding in equal measure and ideal for someone with a yearning and ability to develop sources and break news.The position offers a great opportunity for a correspondent seeking exposure to the sharpest end of our news file.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
– At least two years experience covering macro economics/markets and central banks with a track record of developing sources and breaking news.
– Good German an advantage although other western European languages could be equally useful.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the ECB Chief Correspondent.
