Thomson Reuters market-leading loan team is looking for a Sub Editor in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be in charge of copy-editing material for both style and content, checking for accuracy, spelling, grammar, formatting and coding.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the bureau chief in daily and weekly news production
Manage copy across a multimedia platform that includes real-time news
Reporting for TR’s LoanConnector website and Reuters newswire as well as magazine coverage for Basis Point and IFR magazines
Flexible team player who is able to take the initiative and identify and upload stories to LoanConnector
Requirements:-
Minimum 5 years sub editing experience
Strong editorial skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
Knowledge of financial markets and/or Asia’s corporate landscape
Keen eye for detail
Knowledge of editorial methodology and corporate standards
Ability to deal with conflicting priorities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Other Asian languages a plus
