Reuters seeks car technology reporter in San Francisco

Reuters seeks an experienced reporter in San Francisco to cover transportation technology in Silicon Valley.

This is a sprawling story, stretching from the rise of ride-hailing companies Uber and Lyft to the slow roll of autonomous vehicles and companies behind them like Waymo, Tesla and Cruise. Inside the car, companies like Google, Apple and Amazon are fighting for control of infotainment and voice control systems – and all the data that connected cars can collect.

We want a scoop machine who can also step back to provide insight into the changes coming to cars, to the industry that produces them, and to the industries that rely on them.
