Reuters Breakingviews seeks editorial assistant

Reuters Breakingviews is looking for candidates who can fit the challenging entry-level position of editorial assistant that involves providing across-the-board support for a team of senior columnists and editors based in New York and San Francisco.

DUTIES:

• Publish text and video content on multiple platforms
• Promote Breakingviews through social media, email newsletters and other means
• Book guests for podcasts
• Organize special projects, including books, dinner debates and panel discussions
• Maintain and expand lists of VIPs, customers and editorial contacts

REQUIREMENTS:

• An assiduous approach to accuracy and the ability to multi-task
• An interest in pursuing a career in financial journalism
• Strong awareness of the best practices in social media
• Enthusiasm for supporting the leading team in global financial commentary
