Real Estate Capital, the monthly magazine and news website covering real estate financing and capital, currently has two new senior reporter roles available – one in New York, the other in London.
Real Estate Capital recently became part of the PEI Media Group (www.thisispei.com), the fast-growing financial information business with offices in London, New York and Hong Kong and a leading franchise in real estate investment publishing. Following its acquisition by PEI, the title is now expanding its editorial team in two of our offices to widen its remit and international reach.
To this end, we’re keen to hear from ambitious individuals seeking to advance their careers in a highly dynamic segment of global finance. Working alongside PEI’s existing US editorial team, our new hire Senior Reporter in New York will lead the development of our US market coverage; over in London, where European languages will be an advantage, the new recruit will be instrumental in building out our UK and continental European reporting.
Candidates on either side of the Atlantic should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least three years of journalism or related experience. A track record in covering finance and investment is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a global editorial crew. Resilience under pressure is key as well, and candidates should also be gifted networkers, willing and able to travel and attend industry-related events: engaging constantly with the markets we cover is another core requirement. Multimedia reporting skills are a plus, and you will need a valid work permit for the US or the UK.
People who thrive at PEI are smart, driven and committed. The successful applicants will understand the value of teamwork yet desire to make a personal impact and will be passionate and energetic about what they do. We can provide an exciting career opportunity where personal growth and advancement is aligned to the rapid development of an award-winning media business.
Interested applicants should send their CV, cover letter including salary requirements and three recent clips to Jane Roberts, Editor at Real Estate Capital, at jane.r@peimedia.com.
