Real Deal South Florida seeks reporter

The Real Deal South Florida, which covers every aspect of South Florida real estate through its website and quarterly print magazines, is seeking a Web Reporter/Producer to join our team in Miami.

The ideal candidate will possess a sharp eye for news; a talent for writing clean, effortless copy and an exceptional facility with tight deadlines. We are looking for someone who is excited about business reporting, and who sees the possibility for great stories in one of the most exciting real estate markets in the world. Knowledge of WordPress, PhotoShop and various social media platforms is a plus.

The Web Reporter/Producer position involves digging for breaking news stories for the website each day, working on longer form features for both the site and the quarterly magazines, recapping stories from other publications and working with photos and videos.

Salary is competitive, and benefits include access to health insurance and a 401K, plus the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial, collaborative, fast-paced environment with room to grow in the organization.

Interested applicants should send a cover letter, resume and three relevant clips/links to Managing Editor Ina Cordle at ic@therealdeal.com.
