Real Deal seeks web producer/reporter in New York

The Real Deal magazine’s award-winning website, which provides the latest news on every corner of New York City real estate, is seeking a Web Reporter/Producer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a sharp eye for news; an innate talent for writing clean, effortless copy; an exceptional facility with tight deadlines; and a solid knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop and social media platforms.

The position mainly involves blogging for real estate professionals who rely on TheRealDeal.com as their main source for news–with more than 2.4 million visits a month. The Web Reporter/Producer works closely with the editors in recapping stories from other publications, formatting photos and video, and pitching in on social media accounts. The position also involves digging for breaking news stories for the website each day, and occasionally writing longer format stories for the monthly magazine.

Salary is competitive, and benefits include a casual work environment and room to grow in the organization. Interested applicants should send a cover letter, resume and three relevant clips/links to Managing Web Editor Hiten Samtani at jobs@therealdeal.com.
