The Real Deal, the leading publication covering the New York and South Florida real estate markets — with Los Angeles on the way — is looking for a full-time web reporter/producer to help us expand to new markets.
The web reporter/producer will be responsible for aggregating content from other news sites, with some original reporting along the way. The role will also require tagging posts, optimizing SEO, adding and touching up images, creating slideshows, and general website maintenance duties.
The work will primarily consist of coverage of the Los Angeles market to start, with some work for our Miami site and posts about New York’s suburban markets.
With more than 2.4 million visits a month, TheRealDeal.com is the go-to news source for top real estate, finance and investment professionals. Our award-winning coverage includes breaking news, investigative stories, market reports and long-form narrative profiles.
The ideal candidate has 1+ years of online journalism experience and is quick, detail-oriented and looking to gain business journalism experience in an award-winning digital media newsroom.
To apply, please email Deputy Web Editor James Kleimann at james@therealdeal.com with your cover letter, resume and “Web producer, national” in the subject line.
