The Real Deal, the leading publication covering the big players and major deals in the New York City and South Florida real estate markets, is seeking a South Florida bureau chief for our Miami office.
Our Miami web operation, along with the New York site, garners more than 10 million page views a month. We are growing at warp speed and are looking for an experienced editor who can both guide staff reporters and freelancers in original reporting and aggregation, as well as churn out stories of their own. The job will also involve contributing to a regular print section that will run in both New York and South Florida.
We want someone who is excited about business reporting, and who sees the possibility for great stories in one of the most dynamic real estate markets in the country. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter excited about the chance to grow with us and take the reins to expand our South Florida operations.
Competitive salary based on experience. Candidates may have the opportunity to later work in New York or both cities. Please send cover letter, resume and three pertinent clips to jobs@therealdeal.com with “South Florida bureau chief” in the subject line.
