Your role will be to create and produce economic, finance, and business stories under the rubric of a newly revamped Quartz Index. The ideal candidate for this job has a passion for visual storytelling, an interest in new products, and a desire to tell stories about the global economy.
You will be responsible for writing and publishing daily stories (not in traditional text formats), working on charts, creating a weekly email, and coordinating video stories with the video team.
This editor should be organized and capable of working independently.
She should be comfortable taking ownership of this project with an eye to new opportunities and ways to incorporate the project into other products like Atlas and the Quartz app.
