Quartz seeks breaking news reporters

Quartz seeks reporters to scan the world for breaking news and quickly offer coverage to our global readership on multiple platforms.

These positions are part of a team focused on news writing, the Quartz Daily Brief email newsletter, and products currently in development. Candidates should live for news, have a keen sense of story, and use TweetDeck like an additional appendage. It’s also important to possess a talent for writing concisely but with voice. Strong journalistic instincts are required to distinguish truth from rumor, Quartzy from prosaic, and fascinating from merely interesting.

To apply, please write a cover letter explaining how you get your news and include a few links to your work.

Quartz is a business news venture of Atlantic Media, found online at qz.com.
