We are looking for an early-career journalist with at least two years’ professional reporting experience, an entrepreneurial approach, data fluency, and the ability to convey curiosity, sophistication, and a clear point of view in their writing. You will relish the challenge of keeping up with fast-breaking developments, making quick judgments about which stories to cover, and meeting deadlines with aplomb.
At Quartz we take a global, interdisciplinary, forward-looking approach to covering the news. Experimenting with new ways to put news and data into context will be a central challenge of the job, and you can count on being tapped to help out the email team on a regular basis.
To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume, and three links to relevant stories you’ve written and reported.
