Quartz seeks a breaking news reporter

Quartz seeks a reporter obsessed with the world of business to cover the biggest breaking stories of the day, offering context and insight, for a six-month period.

You might be covering the hacking of a major pipeline, reporting on the latest old-school stock to go wild, diving into the world of NFTs, or covering the latest SPAC.

You’ll need to demonstrate a dexterity in your approach to reporting, be fascinated with how businesses are changing, and show readers the impact of these changes on the global economy and the people within it.

The company seeks a journalist with:

  • At least two years’ professional reporting experience
  • An entrepreneurial approach
  • Data fluency
  • The ability to convey curiosity, sophistication, and a clear point of view in their writing.
