The Pulitzer Center is looking to hire an experienced and creative senior editor. The editor will be responsible for recruiting and reviewing proposals, selecting promising stories and helping take charge of editorial project management.
Additionally, as an editor, you will also be managing 170 reporting projects a year, expanding the diversity of Pulitzer journalist-grantees, negotiating with journalist-grantees, writing and editing a weekly newsletter and other such tasks.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of professional journalism experience that includes a substantial international component.
