Providence Business News, Southern New England’s leading business news organization, is looking for a special-projects editor to join our award-winning team.

The special-projects editor assigns and edits stories for special sections tied to PBN award programs, contributes to the daily news report and also has the opportunity to do occasional feature-length, cover reporting.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with good organizational, time-management and editing skills. They will have an understanding of AP Style and be eager to work in a collegial, team-oriented environment. A business reporting and editing background is a definite plus, but even more important is someone eager to learn, grow and be willing to help others in a collaborative newsroom.

PBN offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and 401(k), parking and PTO.

Please forward a cover letter explaining why you are the right person for the job, resume and samples of your work to editor Mike Mello at editor@PBN.com. No phone calls, please.
