Protocol seeks two workplace reporters

April 27, 2021

Posted by Chris Roush

Protocol is seeking two reporters who can break news and tell original, inside stories about the forces shaping the new world of work.

The post-pandemic workplace will present business leaders with a host of new challenges, from managing hybrid work schedules and complying with new health and safety requirements, to evaluating and implementing new productivity tools, to hiring, managing, training and retaining employees who expect more from their employer on everything from work-life balance to diversity, equity and inclusion. Protocol will give business leaders the news and information they need to navigate this quickly changing landscape.

What You’ll Need:

We’re not looking for reporters to summarize what others have already reported; we’re looking for reporters who can consistently break news that other reporters have to follow. Our ideal candidates are smart, well-sourced and have a knack for finding out what’s happening and explaining what it means and why it matters to a savvy and knowledgeable audience.

The strongest candidates will have experience and expertise in one or more specific workplace-related areas, including management, worker rights and learning and development.

Location: We welcome candidates from anywhere within the United States. Our team to date is concentrated in the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington, New York City, Portland and London.

Apply: To apply, send a cover letter and resume, with Workplace Reporter in the subject line, to jobs@protocol.com
