What You’ll Need:
We’re not looking for reporters to summarize what others have already reported; we’re looking for reporters who can consistently break news that other reporters have to follow. Our ideal candidates are smart, well-sourced and have a knack for finding out what’s happening and explaining what it means and why it matters to a savvy and knowledgeable audience.
The strongest candidates will live and breathe productivity and software. They will probably have strong views on Notion vs. Roam, plan their whole life in Trello or Asana, and have coached most of their colleagues about how to use Zoom and Slack like a pro. They will also be fascinated by the backstories of these apps and who built them, desperate to tell companies how they can use them most effectively and always on the lookout for the next big trend. Basically, if there’s a tech solution to a workplace problem, they’ll know about it — and want to tell everyone.
Location: We prefer candidates in the San Francisco, New York and Washington, D.C. areas but are open to other locations as well.
