Prime8 is looking for writers who will create content experiences that help people achieve more with technology. Effective communication and cross-group collaboration skills are necessary to engage with relevant stakeholders to develop content to educate customers about products. The ideal candidate is creative and passionate about words, design, and technology.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., engineering, research, design, product) to understand products/content areas/features and problems to author optimal content
  • Champion best practices which promote clear, concise, and meaningful language
  • Work with stakeholders to assess content for potential improvements and to incorporate changes
  • Collaborate with and manage the contributions of subject matter experts to author or improve content
  • Combine User Experience (UX) thinking with design execution
  • Raises the content design bar with innovative solution strategies and experience design recommendations
  • Strive to make content customer-focused by facilitating information sharing and incorporating changes from customer feedback
  • Use metrics to measure customer satisfaction and/or business impact after content is published

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years experience working in product or service design, copywriting, technical writing, writing (e.g. for marketing, advertising, e-commerce)
  • 3+ years hands-on experience writing content for consumer-facing web sites
  • Excellent writing skills and prior experience of interacting with program/product managers, and other technical writers to plan and deliver clear, easy-to-understand technical documentation
  • Knowledge of trends in the user assistance, training, or content publishing industry
  • Technical training, and/or instructional design knowledge or experience highly valued

COMPENSATION

  • $50-$60/hour
