Politico Pro is looking for a smart, aggressive reporter to cover the intersection of policy and politics in the technology and communications sector.
The ideal candidate possesses tech policy expertise, a passion for politics, an eye for the business impact of policy decisions and strong writing skills. Experience covering Capitol Hill, the FCC, the FTC or other relevant agencies in Washington is a plus.
The job entails a mix of daily and breaking news stories as well as broader, conceptual articles that our readers won’t find elsewhere. Cultivating sources and writing fast, analytical takeaways will be emphasized.
Qualifications
Experience in covering technology and communications policy and/or politics at the professional level; established ability to write clearly and accurately on deadline; proven ability to break news and handle a demanding, fast-moving reporting job.
