Politico seeks sustainability editor

Politico is looking for an experienced editor with a deep interest in global and domestic sustainability issues, including climate and water policy, waste and pollution issues, the intersection of financial policy making and environmental concerns.

Ass editor, you will work across the newsroom with reporters and editors across the country, to produce a robust pipeline of content on environmental and sustainability issues.

You will also find ways to curate and enhance content coming from Politico’s various platforms and elevate copy for both a sophisticated set of subscribers and more general audience.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of relevant journalism experience
  • Ability to write clearly and accurately on deadline
  • Proven ability to handle a demanding, fast-moving journalism job
