Politico Pro is looking for pharmaceutical reporters to join our health care team.
The ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of policy issues affecting the industry, strong sources, a passion for politics – and an appetite for scooping the competition and giving readers inside information they can’t get anywhere else. These reporters will not be writing about what drug is getting approved next week – but about the forces shaping the industry now and into the future.
The ability to write fast and analytically is a must. Congressional and/or federal agency experience help too. Above all, we want a reporter who is versatile and organized, can own the beat and can write quick, breaking news items as well as broader conceptual stories.
Qualifications
Experience in covering the pharmaceutical industry, national health care policy and politics at the professional level; established ability to write clearly and accurately on deadline; proven ability to break news and handle a demanding, fast-moving reporting job.
