POLITICO is looking for an experienced reporter to write health care accountability stories with a focus on the Biden administration.
We’re looking for someone who’s exceptional at identifying high-impact stories that will ensure POLITICO continues to dominate health care coverage in Washington – particularly the intersection between the Department of Health and Human Services and the White House. This reporter should have a history of developing sources in all branches of government and using them to break revelatory stories.
This position emphasizes enterprise and accountability reporting, but candidates must be able to break news and quickly. The successful candidate will be able to spot where a story is headed and be positioned to lead coverage by developing smart storylines that directly connect with POLITICO readers.
What You’ll Need:
We are driven by our values. We are relentless contributors, disruptors of the status quo, collaborators, talent cultivators and DEI stewards. Our culture is defined by grit, total integrity and a prioritization on innovation.
We value our people. We offer a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness benefits, commuter and cell phone reimbursements, retirement plans, as well as work-life balance flexibility and opportunities for career development.
