The Philadelphia Business Journal is seeking an energetic and aggressive reporter to cover the Greater Philadelphia’s burgeoning technology and education sectors.
The ideal candidate thrives in a digital-first, breaking news culture and has the ability to work across platforms, including deep-dive, investigative work in print.
In this position, the reporter must marry strong traditional journalism skills – source building, sharp interviewing techniques, strong analytical and investigative reporting skills and a clear writing style – with online and social media expertise. This position also requires the reporter to be out and about in the community.
At least two years of reporting experience is preferred. Recent graduates who have the right mix of skills will be considered.
Please e-mail cover letter, resume and work samples to Craig Ey, editor-in-chief, Philadelphia Business Journal, at cey@bizjournals.com.
