Pageant Media seeks mutual fund reporters

A New York, London and Frankfurt-based business information specialist is looking to hire talented and enthusiastic financial reporters to generate and manage the best in coverage of the U.S. mutual fund sector.

Based in our New York office and bolstering an experienced 10-strong team of award-winning financial journalists, the successful candidates will cover multiple aspects of this fascinating sector – across six distinct networks – ranging from legal, compliance and governance issues, through to technology, product development, investor searches and marketing/distribution.

We are looking for a range of experience levels, from recent graduates, to seasoned editors capable of managing large teams. Regardless of rank and experience all candidates would be expected to source off-diary stories, pitch insightful analysis ideas and build-up and cultivate a large contact book of helpful sources.

We are keen to hire people who are up for the challenge of covering one of the most dynamic parts of the financial sector and who want to be out meeting sources and working contacts on the phone rather than sitting at their desk writing up press releases.

Applicants should display both the hunger and drive required to be successful in this role and the ability to function well as part of a close-knit team of reporters working across the six networks.

How to apply

A covering letter, explaining why you are suitable for the role, and resume should be sent to Gwyn Roberts at g.roberts@pageantmedia.com
