This is a full-time salaried staff writer position we will expect you to contribute to our print, online and social media platforms in a highly competitive market. Your beat will include biotech giant Amgen, plus a number of hardware and software firms including Teledyne, Semtech and QAD.
You will also cover a group of emerging companies clustered around UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Undergraduate degree, familiarity with business news fundamentals and 1-3 years of experience preferred. Salary includes health benefits.
