We prefer applicants with at least two years of experience covering business for a business publication or general interest newspaper and the ability to quickly turn a breaking news story for online publication and then add context and perspective for print.
Applicants should have experience with publicly traded companies, business issues and finance, be able to understand public filings and financial statements, and be able to turn them into compelling stories. The ideal candidate also has multimedia skills and experience with online publishing and social media.
To apply, email a cover letter, resume and your three best clips to Managing Editor Glenn Rabinowitz at grabinowitz@pacbiztimes.com.
