The primary goal of the assistant web editor is to edit and craft timely and compelling stories and other online products that drive loyal engagement, grow audience and extend PBN’s brand in the digital space.
The assistant web editor will be responsible for writing and editing online content, including our Morning Edition and Afternoon Edition newsletters. He or she will own the execution of the online content strategy across multiple platforms and products, including web, email, mobile and social media.
Solid news judgment; strong reporting, writing and editing skills; knowledge of AP style; creative use of social media and familiarity with SEO and site metrics.
