OZY.com, a growing digital magazine that covers the new and the next—both trends and people—in a range of topics across the world, is looking for an ambitious full-time reporter/writer (as well as freelancers) to head up our U.S. and global business coverage.
The candidate will ideally have extensive experience in business writing and have worked three to five years, overall, in journalism. We are looking for someone who is comfortable and confident developing profiles, trend stories and thought pieces.
We do only a handful of stories a day, so each piece needs to be a gem: relevant, well-rounded and flavorful, with a clear “Why You Should Care” element. The job will likely be based at our headquarters in Mountain View, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley, but we will consider other candidates, including freelancers.
