The Orlando Sentinel is looking for a business reporter who can deliver strong, local, consumer-focused coverage of these key beats: technology, personal finance, banking and the defense industry, which is a big player in Central Florida.
Responsibilities:
The reporter is tasked with writing premium content on a wide array of business news as well as covering business events. The reporter must thrive working in a fast-paced environment – writing short stories quickly for online while developing sophisticated enterprise and contributing a weekly column to our Central Florida Business section.
Qualifications:
The reporter works closely with our digital staff and is called upon frequently to do TV news and internal videos. The reporter must be active on social media, as well as comfortable shooting photos and video. Applicants must have experience at a daily news organization or similar web operation and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
