The Orlando Sentinel is looking for a senior digital reporter to write about every facet of Central Florida business.
This reporter will be out in the community, covering a vast landscape — from the people who make the deals to new ventures to a wide variety of local business happenings. The reporter must be adept at using social media to build a following and to share news, as well as comfortable shooting photos and video.
This is a fast-paced, digitally-focused job, with the expectation of several business items written each day.
The successful candidate will be expected to build a brand around his or her business coverage.
Applicants must have at least five to 10 years of experience at a daily news organization or similar web operation on a wide range of complex topics, with preference given to business news experience; advanced SEO skills; and a bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
