Oregon paper seeks a business reporter

The Bulletin in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a business reporter to cover technology, startups, the beer industry and more.

The ideal candidate will be as comfortable writing about micro businesses as tech giants and venture capitalists. Experience covering business is a plus, but demonstrated curiosity and persistence are more important. We need someone who can handle the demands of a daily newspaper while producing enterprise work.

The Bulletin is an independent, family-owned newspaper. Central Oregon is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and stellar outdoor recreation.

The Bulletin is a drug-free workplace and an equal opportunity employer. Pre-employment drug screening is required prior to hiring.

To apply, send a resume and three samples of your work (links or .pdf files) to businessreporter@bendbulletin.com.
