Orange County Biz Journal seeks an executive editor

The Orange County Business Journal, arguably the most successful local business publication in the country, is seeking an Executive Editor.

The Executive Editor is responsible for the planning and production of our weekly print publication, as well as creating and editing content, managing editorial staff and daily digital coverage.   The Executive Editor will work directly with our Editor-in-Chief to shape coverage strategies and story ideas. The position offers opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished journalist with a sophisticated understanding of business.

Orange County is a community of three million people and is the job center of Southern California, as measured by jobs per population.  It is the number one market for medical device companies; is rich with consumer product companies and restaurant chains, like Chipotle and Taco Bell; finance, including Pimco; defense, including Anduril and Boeing; Disneyland and much more.

The Orange County Business Journal’s sophisticated understanding and coverage of our local business community has been ongoing for more than forty years.  Our editorial excellence has put us in a position to substantially grow, while other print media shrink.
