BizDay has an opening for a reporter in San Francisco to join our technology team.
Covering tech is one of the most dynamic jobs at The Times, and this reporter will be part of a hard-charging team of journalists that extends from San Francisco to New York, Hong Kong and London.
We are looking for someone who can break news as well as write enterprise about an industry that is transforming our economy and our lives, but is also cloaked in secrecy and requires dogged reporting to penetrate.
The ideal candidate will spot big trends, identify key personalities and be unafraid to take on sacred cows. Knowledge about technology and the industry is helpful, but curiosity about the businesses behind this critical area of our coverage is even more important.
This is a Guild position based in San Francisco. Candidates should contact murphyd@nytimes.com or pui-wing.tam@nytimes.com.
