NY Times seeks senior financial analyst, Wirecutter

The New York Times Wirecutter is looking for a senior financial analyst.

DUTIES:

  • Ensure the accuracy of month-end accounting and reporting
  • Explain variances to finance and business leadership
  • Own update and reporting of Wirecutter’s P&L
  • Transform existing financial reports to align with the growing business needs
  • Maintain Wirecutter’s 10-year financial model
  • Assess ROI impact of certain capital investments

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA is required, preferably with a degree in finance, Mathematics, economics, or accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant financial roles with a deep understanding of financial and accounting concepts
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. In addition, experience with Hyperion Essbase is a plus
