The New York Times Wirecutter is looking for a senior financial analyst.
DUTIES:
- Ensure the accuracy of month-end accounting and reporting
- Explain variances to finance and business leadership
- Own update and reporting of Wirecutter’s P&L
- Transform existing financial reports to align with the growing business needs
- Maintain Wirecutter’s 10-year financial model
- Assess ROI impact of certain capital investments
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS/BA is required, preferably with a degree in finance, Mathematics, economics, or accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in relevant financial roles with a deep understanding of financial and accounting concepts
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. In addition, experience with Hyperion Essbase is a plus
