Business Day at the New York Times is looking for an editor at the groundbreaking financial news platform DealBook.
The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of finance and banking, a fierce competitive streak and a proven ability to generate ideas for both online and print. This is a multifaceted position at the very heart of our daily business coverage.
As a deputy DealBook editor, this person will be working closely with the reporters who cover mergers, banks, hedge funds and markets, as well as handling several columnists and working on enterprise.
The candidate should possess a deft editing touch, a passion for working with reporters and freelancers and an aptitude for digital storytelling. Internal and external candidates welcome to apply. This is an excluded, non-Guild position.
