The Home team is seeking an assistant editor who will help manage the team, own The Times’ digital report on weekends and use the digital platforms to build stronger relationships with readers.
As an editor, you will be working with the weekend editor determining what the Times promotes on the home screen and how it is framed, and oversee push notifications.
Strong writing and editing skills are a must. Also, you must possess knowledge of Times style or the ability to absorb and apply it quickly.
The role also includes supervising staff editors and senior staff editors, giving performance feedback and assisting with evaluations.
