Few tech companies have had as much of a cultural impact as Google and its parent company, Alphabet.
The New York Times is seeking an ambitious, energetic and versatile reporter to cover Alphabet’s power and influence, from Google’s giant ad business and YouTube to futuristic operations like the self-driving car operation Waymo.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in reporting and should not only be game and able to cover the core stories, but also be able to think creatively about this high-profile beat, collaborate with colleagues and source fearlessly.
The job is based in San Francisco and reports to the tech editors.
