Newsweek is looking to hire an experienced digital editor to oversee national and business reporting across its U.S. digital newsroom.
As managing editor, you will act as mentor and editor for the more ambitious digital reporters. The ideal candidate will have her/his finger on the pulse of the main stories dominating the conversation across the United States.
You will also be organized and lead long-term planning across reporting teams, helping build a culture of anticipatory journalism.
What’s needed?
- At least 15 years in journalism including 10 in management and editing roles
- A track record of building and leading crack reporting teams
- Deep understanding of U.S. politics
- Understanding of digital publishing a must
