We are looking for a reporter who can reinvent what it means to cover the markets, driving the agenda and redefining the beat. We want someone who is curious, innovative, and determined to find stories that go beyond the daily price swings and chatter.
The ideal candidate is someone with experience writing about finance, but who is not a prisoner to numbers and industry jargon. She or he should be able to illuminate market trends in ways that are analytical, explanatory and entertaining for readers of all backgrounds and professions, while also being relevant and insightful for those working on Wall Street.
This person should be digitally savvy, bringing a flexible and creative approach to story-telling as we rethink our financial coverage more broadly and connect with readers in new ways on multiple platforms.
