The New York Times is looking for a dynamic, tested, well-rounded editor to join its Business desk to oversee a key part of its report: finance and Wall Street coverage.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of banks, investment banks, hedge funds, private equity and markets, and should have solid experience writing and editing with breaking news and enterprise stories.
This editor will oversee a large team of reporters focused on finance and Wall Street. The right candidate would be idea-driven, and be comfortable conceiving of and overseeing deep investigative stories. Management experience is also required.
This is an excluded position.
